When you say 170s, I think you may be referring to the older TW 170s which is not the same as the 11R 170 heads. The 11R 170 and 11R 190 would be about the same for PTV clearance, but a TW 170 head would not. The 11R heads do have better PTV clearance due to the valve angle. 1 user.
