WebThe trail follows the old highway bed for about 6km until meeting the existing Highway 1. As shown on this map, you can continue past the Old Sicamous Highway trail for 1 km to descend down to the beach. It is largely an easy, flat trail except for getting down to the beach and back. WebSLEDDERS: Close to some of the best alpine snowmobiling in Western Canada with deep snow, powder filled open bowls, endless meadows, groomed trails, and breathtaking alpine scenery. All four alpine areas are reached by forest service roads that are carefully groomed PLUS all four sledding areas offer cozy cabins to warm up in.
