I play mostly fingerstyle, somebody who flatpicks aggressively would find this action too low. Action height at 12th fret, high E string: 4/64. WebIf the saddles have good slots and the strings are still popping out, its becasue the break angle is too low (resulting in no enough downward pressure of the string over the saddle, which not only can casue the strings to pop out, but can kill your tone and sustain). So the only way to increase the break angle is to rasie the bridge.
